藝術家李基宏多以其身體長時間運動的基礎,在特定場景中的反覆操作,來呼應影像運動的時間性。這次的影像創作計畫,李基宏先在鳳甲美術館進行為期一個月的清潔玻璃櫥窗的工作,並且將工作過程的紀錄與過程影像加以疊加、變速,在展覽期間投影在美術館原來的玻璃上,形成某種時間後像與幻影徘徊的效果。李基宏選擇了玻璃為新的投映材質,除此之外,透過時間性的歷程,清掃與擦拭的痕跡,亦成為時間的表現性筆觸,猶如身體作用於空間中的時間影像,讓古典的繪畫性條件轉置為當代影像式的筆觸。就空間場域的脈絡而言,李基宏多選擇現代化的空間場域,譬如公園、汽車、畫廊、美術館,做為他的影像對話與疊合的空間場域要素,充分表現了「影像」與「現代性幽靈」之間的緊密關係。

 

The artist Lee Ji-Hong often works on the long-term physical exercise, repeatedly operating in certain settings, so as to demonstrate the time attribute of the motion of images. For the image creation project this time, Lee had engaged himself in the window cleaning in Hong-Gah Museum for one month, and then superimposed the images of working onto the images of progress and changed the speed. Finally the images would be projected onto the original glass window of the Museum during the exhibition, creating some kind of play of phantom with afterimage of time. Lee chose glass as a new material for projection. In addition, along the course of temporality, the tracks of cleaning and wiping become the expressive strokes of time, just as the time-image of a body moving in a space transforms the classical painting criterion into strokes of contemporary images. In regard of space field, Lee chose modern space such as park, car, art gallery, museum, etc. as his space elements for image discourse and superimposition, fully illustrating the intimate relationship between "image" and "the phantom of modernity".
